Dr. Lonnie Finney was born and raised in Winfield, KS. He graduated from Winfield High School in 1993 and then Cowley County Community College in 1996. He met and married his wife, Tessa, in Winfield while Lonnie was working as a manager at Gallaway's restaurant, formerly located in Winfield. They have 2 grown kids together; Jayden, 23, who lives in Gilbert, AZ and Dawson, 21, who lives in Arkansas City.
In 2002, he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology from Logan College and later his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2005.

Working with Dr. Fox also gave him an opportunity to treat more than 100 patients a day, which honed his clinical skills and treatment philosophy very early in his career.
From there he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he built one of the largest practices in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. This experience afforded him the opportunity to work with a lot of professional athletes from Olympians, to World Champion boxers, former and current professional MLB and NFL players, a U.S. cycling champion and even UFC/ WEC Champions.
Because of his success in private practice, he was recruited by a Scottsdale Medical Doctor for a unique opportunity…to help develop and start the world’s first and only specialty pain hospital. It was Dr. Finney's job to research and write the integrated treatment programs for nearly every chronic pain condition imaginable and then implement them into the hospital. Dr. Finney worked alongside some of the world's most renowned Pain Specialists, Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Podiatric Surgeons and other mid-level providers. He had patients fly in from all over the world to be treated in their unique hospital!
From there Dr. Finney left the hospital to join one of the largest Pain Management groups in the country where he continued to treat chronic pain patients and work side-by-side with Medical Doctors and mid-level providers for 7 more years. His unique background has given him the opportunity to perfect some different and unique treatment approaches for those who suffer from both acute and/or chronic pain.
He is Double Board Certified in Chiropractic and Physiotherapy and is Fellow trained Acupuncturist by the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He utilizes spinal and extremity manipulation in addition to a number of soft-tissue techniques such as: Gua Sha and Active Release Technique (A.R.T) to treat musculoskeletal conditions. He also utilizes spinal decompression, cold laser and many other techniques to treat all types of pain.
He is excited to share his experience and honored to serve the community that he was born and raised in.
